CLASS OF '69 REUNION RECAP

On Friday night they had an estimated group of 150 at Jefferson Grill for 2 hours. The group was then supposed to move to 2 other locations, but most stayed at Jefferson Grill for the duration. We agreed that our awesome Class of '70 will focus our partying skills at only Jefferson Grill that Friday evening of our Reunion and confirmed that we will have exclusive use of it. Kind of like our Senior Lounge revisited. And no smoking allowed there, either. The Class of '69 held their Saturday night party at The Museum of Transportation with about 160 attending at $50 per person. Those that attended/crashed it from our class felt that the facility was not large enough for the crowd that attended and it was challenging to interact, as it was on 2 floors. At Kirkwood Park on Sunday, they had about 75 attending. In true Pioneer team fashion, we appreciate the Class of '69 allowing us to "observe" and "drop in" on their Reunion so we could build on their success for our own reunion next year.

CLASS OF '70 REUNION EVENTS

Friday Night: Terry Markway and Patti Smith will be leading this event and welcome additional volunteers. We will begin reconnecting with our classmates at 6 pm at Jefferson Grill on Friday, 9/11/2019. Included will be unlimited appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages for a flat fee and a cash bar. Discussion was held regarding lanyards for our Pioneers, which would then be used throughout the weekend. Extra charge for Senior yearbook picture redos/photoshopping and extra large print for your name tag.

Saturday Tour: Sue McNamara will be leading our KHS tour at 10 am on Saturday morning and welcomes your help. Discussion was held about not needing refreshments, making sure the Pioneer Store is open, a group picture is taken and a cash donation for KHS canister is available.

Saturday Night: Sara Crook will be leading this event, but welcomes additional help. We look forward to extending our Long and Winding Road at Westborough Country Club in a business/retiree casual-attire atmosphere with food stations set up throughout the room(s).

Sunday Picnic: Marsha and Linda are heading up this event at Kirkwood Park 10 am - 3 pm. BeBe Brinkman Langston, a Kirkwood resident, has volunteered to reserve the Sugar Creek Ridge Pavilion (a $45.00 charge) by going to the Kirkwood Community Center when reservations open on 11/1/19. She will be there bright and early to stand in line for us. Thank you BeBe. Picnic will be BYO food and drink.
